Romo stood out among his brothers and sister as a puppy, and he quickly picked us to be his family. Boy were we lucky! He was just a ball of black and white fur that was full of life! He started out sleeping in the laundry basket of clothes and refused to accept another bed until his long legs hung over the edge. It took him the same amount of time to decide to climb the stairs on his own, simply because he liked to be carried. He grew into the most handsome, lovable, and kind dog in the world! He met his life partner, Cammie, a few years later (another boarder collie). Together they had many adventures. He loved her so much that he couldn’t bear to have a day without her, howling for her to come home. He woke every morning, went outside to lay in the grass and would put his big nose up to the sky to smell the fresh morning air and listen to the birds. He often spent time on the large trampoline outside or choose to sneak out of the yard to go for a swim in the river. He was seen chasing a deer at one time, keeping up to his speed, we thought we would never see him again! He loved to catch balls rolling off the roof (catching it every time). He also enjoyed catching popcorn and having an occational waffle. We sang songs to him about how wonderful he was and spent good and bad times together. He will be forever remembered in our hearts as one of our dearest family members. We love you Romo!
